Senior Secondary includes Years 10, 11 and 12. Developing 21st century skills, pathways to tertiary studies, further vocational training and/or employment is the primary goal of senior school education. Leadership and community participation as well as developing a growth mind set towards academic success sets the tone for Senior secondary. Senior students are recognised by our unique senior school uniform identifiers and students are taught through our Learning & Wellbeing (LIFT) program to model and exemplify emerging adult behaviours that set an example to the whole student body.  They develop responsibilities of active citizenship and learn how to become contributors to society and post-school economy.

Opportunities are provided both during selected subjects and in our co-curricular program conducted in-school and in partnership with external providers to allow our students to cross the line of opportunity and set ongoing individual goals. Pathways, courses of study and clear outcomes complement each other to ensure every opportunity for students to succeed. Many layers of support are provided as students' progress to the next steps beyond the completion of formal schooling.

Our Senior School@Shailer document gives a clear overview of all subjects offered and the pathways available as students move through their non-compulsory phase of schooling.  The Senior course guide  gives detailed information about each subject area, including topics studied and assessment requirements.
