Representative School Sport
Shailer Park State High School is a member of the representative school sport pathway. The representative school sport pathway provides opportunities for students to represent the Pacific District and South Coast Region in their chosen sporting discipline.
To take advantage of this opportunity, students with experience in a particular sporting discipline are invited to nominate for their respective sport through the school appointed Sport Coordinator.
Students are encouraged to regularly view the Pacific District Trial Calendar and check the Shailer Park SHS Student SharePoint page for trials open for nomination.
To be eligible to trial, students must:
- be participating in regular matches and training of the sporting discipline either through school or external providers
- e-mail their intent to nominate to the Sport Coordinator prior to the nomination due date
- complete the South Coast School Sport Permission and Details Booklet (see related links) digitally prior to the due date
- print Permission and Details Booklet and present to Sport Coordinator to receive school authorisation of selection
- submit Permission and Details Booklet to Trial Convenor on the day of trial.
For any additional information regarding Representative School Sport, please contact the Academies and Sport Coordinator.
