Course overview
Classroom music at Shailer Park State High School covers a range of styles and genres from Elvis to Madonna as well as the Classics and Jazz. Students have the opportunity to create their own compositions using iPads, perform some of music’s greatest hits and explore musical elements while improving their overall musical knowledge. Music is offered to grades 7–12.

The core of Senior Art is Visual Studies that is an in-depth study of visual art concepts. Developing, researching and resolving are central to all work undertaken in Art. The elective areas listed are studied in conjunction with Visual Studies:
