Shailer Park State High School offers a range of Academic, Cultural and Sporting Programs of Excellence (The Academies), developed in partnership with strong industry and tertiary providers.
The Academies are designed to inspire, challenge and extend students with exceptional abilities, while strengthening their love of learning within a specialised field.
Our Academy programs include Nexus, Altum, Ignite Dance, Futsal, Volleyball, Basketball and Netball. Each program delivers personalised learning approaches tailored to your student’s strengths and aspirations. While equipping students with essential skills and dispositions, The Academies provide authentic pathways to success in Senior Secondary schooling, post-secondary education and future employment.

Successful applicants will be required to sign and return an Academy Agreement to formally accept their position.
